My name is Julian Cunningham.
Since 2017 I've been helping busy men and women achieve their health and fitness goals. I do so by providing time-effective training programs and individualized nutritional guidance. I strongly believe that every one of us has the ability to become stronger and healthier. It is my purpose to help people realize and achieve this in their own way. I aim to make your journey as smooth and simple as possible. Training and nutrition doesn't need to be complicated. Together we will tackle your goal with an intelligent plan, emphasizing basic strength exercises and a flexible dieting approach to ensure you achieve great results. My background in exercise is quite diverse, after an encounter with depression when I was a teen, I decided it was time for me to get in shape and build some self-confidence. Being a long-time Bruce Lee fan, I initially turned to methods of Kickboxing and Mixed Martial Arts to improve my fitness, before joining group classes and boot camps. These boot camps eventually evolved into Cross-fit classes as its popularity skyrocketed, introducing me to Olympic weightlifting and other barbell movements. In 2012 I started a fly-in fly-out job (FIFO) involving heavy manual labour. This required me to start taking my strength training more seriously, as I was 65kg ringing wet at the time and in desperate need of some extra muscle mass to keep up with the workload. After 4 years in the Mining Industry, I chose to pursue a new career path. Combining my passion for fitness with the knowledge and work ethic acquired over the years, I am more than confident in my ability to help others experience the benefits of fitness and make the world a happier, healthier place for us all. |

I specialize in helping busy men and women aged 18 to 50 achieve their body composition goals (build muscle, reduce body fat) whilst maximizing strength and functionality.
When working with me you don't need to spend countless hours in the gym burning yourself out, my training programs are time-efficient, meaning they are perfect for those with full-time jobs or who don't want to sacrifice too much family time.
I prioritize resistance training combined with progressive overload to transform your weaknesses to strengths. Every training program is 100% personalized to your needs, taking into consideration your goals, fitness level, injuries, availability and requests.
But exercise is only one piece of the puzzle. In order for me to ensure you get the best results possible we will also work together to manage nutrition, recovery/ sleep and stress levels. My nutritional advice is based on a "Flexible Dieting" approach, also known as "If it fits your macros (IIFYM)". Flexible Dieting is a non-restrictive approach to dieting based on a daily calorie and macronutrient target that is tracked using a mobile app such as MyFitnessPal to ensure you get the best possible results.
